**Responsibilities**:
**The** **Opportunity**
Lead and manage the PMF & LatAm Biscuit and Grains Innovation agenda through the implementation of Processes and Technologies that guarantee the product design reproducibility and contribute to deliver flawless execution of AOP Initiatives for LatAm Region. Support the local/regional SDD PEP+ and productivity agendas, developing and implementing long term strategies for new products and technologies, according to market needs that allows innovate, improve and strengthen our brands.
**Your Impact**
As R&D; Engineering Manager your scope would consist of
- Lead new product initiatives from R&D; perspective, according to the Biscuits & Grains (B&G;) Annual Strategic Plan in PMF/LatAM for the following platforms and technologies:

Platforms: Indulgent Cookies & Cereals (RTE & Oats)_
- _ Main Technologies:_
- _ Rotary Moulded Cookies_
- _ Extruded & Co-Extruded Cookies using Wire Cut and Encrusting Technologies_
- _ Wafer Technologies_
- _ Secondary Technologies: Enrobing, Marshmallow, Depositing, Topping, Coating, etc_
- _ RTE Cereals, Mixes and Oats._
- Collaborate in the strategy definition to build AOP and SDD for the B&G; Category, providing technical information regarding design, formulation and operational feasibility, budget management, market timing for the innovation and brand stewardship initiatives.
- Lead the new product development process for B&G; in LatAm Region and its alignment with the TSG to ensure successful innovations as well as consistent and replicable processes in Plants.
- Support the PEP+ and Productivity AOP and SDD agendas in B&G; LatAm Region providing key inputs to evaluate the technical feasibility, investment requirements, budget management, market timing and any potential manufacturing risks.
- Research of ingredients, updated processes and technologies in the market, establishing communication with vendors to provide technical solutions to achieve differentiated product innovation.
- As R&D; expert, provides technical support for quality, capex integration, product relocation and process optimization across LatAm Operations.




- Define Center Lines and participate in the selection and purchasing of new equipment for B&G; Innovation, upgrade or line replacement verifying those new capabilities complies with product and process specifications.
- Coordinate and ensure the compliance of all the documentation that must be delivered and loaded in the SAP/PLM and R&D; systems for new products.
- Promote collaborators grow up by defining training plans to develop their technical and management skills.
Qualifications:
**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Education: Bachelor/Engineering focused on Food Sciences / Bio / Chemistry or related. Master degree, desirable.
- Experience: +3 years in a similar role.
- Personal Profile: Teamwork, analytical thinking, decision taking, innovative and creative, proactive, affinity to scientific ideas, versátil, and adaptable.
- Language skills: Fluent Spanish and English.
- Travel and Relocation: Willing to travel / Relocation availability is desirable.
