**Applications Engineer**

**YOUR ROLE**
- Manage CQI and GIMS cross functional task force teams, create priorities, action plans and track progress, align and update initiatives list.
- Interacting with DSE, MFG and DRE to develop the next steps plan, document the plan to the team.
- Coordinate any next steps and track progress working side by side with DSE/DRE setting up plans or tests needed.
- Updating status and results into GIMS, our Quality Initiatives documents and QEC teardown results database.
- Manage BRT (Build Readiness Team) for prototype orders.
- Lead for shipping & receiving parts/transmissions for builds to/from suppliers Drive designers & DRES on moving the changes through the system to meet the implementation timing milestones and participate in design reviews with the COES (weekly meetings).
- Ownership of mass/cost optimization.
- Lead resolution of commercial issues that are impeding release and PPAP timing.
- Follow up with purchasing on prototype part timing.
- Follow up with purchasing & plant on make vs. buy strategy.
- Schedule & attend "Design reviews" ahead of ordering proto parts.
- Author minutes with action items/ follow up for each design review Follow up on action item closure.
- Work on special projects as needed.




**YOUR PROFILE**
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related.
- Management of scheduling, organization, and internal processes.
- Self-motivator with a strong passion for automobiles.
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills a must.
