Purpose Statement: To perform engineering design services and other related product development and/or product commercialization support services. Key Job Accountabilities: - Regarded as a "go to" technical specialist, leader and mentor within their engineering discipline; and/or regarded as a cross-discipline leader and mentor for product development. - Achieves in all phases of the full product realization process, as it applies to their role. - Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on small to mid-size projects. - Leads local continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project-level tools or processes. - Provides Customer Service leadership in project technical discussions, business development and proposal creation. Education/Experience Qualifications: - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred_._ - Eight (8) years of related experience is required; Eight (8) or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
