Amentum is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Dispatcher to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Lead Fire Alarm Dispatcher is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Fire Alarm Dispatch Center while ensuring timely, accurate, and eƂective emergency communications in support of Fire and Emergency Services. This position provides leadership to dispatch personnel, oversees alarm monitoring and emergency call processing, ensures compliance with established operating procedures, and coordinates emergency response communication.

Job Responsibilities

mentor, and provide daily oversight of Fire Alarm Dispatch personnel.
- Ensure dispatch personnel are properly trained and perform duties in accordance with departmental policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Promote a professional, collaborative, and customer focused work environment.
- Evaluate dispatcher performance, provide coaching, and recommend training and development opportunities.
- Assist with scheduling, staƯing, and workload distribution to ensure continuous emergency communications coverage.
- Monitor fi re alarm, medical, and emergency detection systems for alarm activations.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch fi re, rescue, emergency medical, and other emergency response resources.
