Advance your career as a **Financial Systems and Close Books Manager** in our** Queretaro office**.** **The Financial Systems and Close Books Manager will manage and optimize financial systems by leading the execution and support of financial processes, including Anaplan models, BPC modules, and Master data. Provide expert technical guidance to the FS team, ensuring consistent, reliable performance and compliance with audit requirements, KPIs, and SLAs. Oversee the close books process by coordinating and leading accounting operations to maintain a robust controls framework, delivering excellent customer service to partners and stakeholders.
**HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
**Operations Oversight**
- Provide technical and day-to-day oversight of Financial Systems & Close Books (FS & CB) team members.
- Implement standardized internal FS management reporting, including presente, strategic forecast, and budget results based on Finance requirements.
- Partner with IT teams on systems integrations, data feeds, and system stability.
- Collaborate with functional groups to gather assumptions, requirements, and data for models.
- Execute structural changes in partnership with IT and Finance, including FS models, restatements, and cutovers.
- Coordinate with contracted service providers for major projects or model builds in FS.
- Maintain account master data in SAP, BPC, and Cadency.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes, including tie-outs within finance tools, account reconciliation, and tool administration.
- Prepare corporate and local accounting reports.
**Knowledge Sharing and Innovation**
- Promote best practices in using Anaplan, BPC, SAP, and other financial systems within the business.
- Foster expertise in WK Kellogg P&L; and cash flow composition, allocation processes, and drivers, including the correct accounting for acquisitions, divestitures, and one-time costs.
- Support the implementation of improvements for process efficiency, quality, and control KPIs.
- Lead and develop training programs on Anaplan, SAP, Cadency, and other financial systems.
- Participate in governance processes, meetings, and reviews.
**Team Leadership and Development**
- Facilitate onboarding for new employees, including training on FS and general WK Kellogg guidelines and policies.
- Supervise and encourage the professional development of direct reports.
- Coach and mentor direct reports on development areas and potential career opportunities.
- Ensure the execution and completion of projects, adherence to key due dates, and identification of opportunities and risks.
- Conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 5+ years of finance or accounting experience.
- 2-3 years of management experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Anaplan, BPC, and SAP systems, including model building and administration.
- Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
