This position is responsible for placing orders to achieve customer on-time delivery, revenue and inventory goals. Creates purchase orders based on requirements generated via the MRP system. Position is also responsible for quoting and placing purchase orders for material required by the MRP system and/or purchase requisitions required for the daily operation of the business. Maintains supplier relationships and insures quality material is purchased at the best price to support production schedules and inventory targets.
Experiência y requisitos
Exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. Excellent organizational and analytical skills required. Strong negotiation skills are also imperative to flourish in this role. Ability to effectively multi-task. As such,



the ability to juggle many tasks simultaneously is desirable Customer Service experience is a plus. Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Associates degree in business administration or related field is preferred. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing procurement, supply chain or planning.
