Seeking a driven and experienced category expert to be responsible for Purchasing Logistics Services (Overland, Expedites, Parcels) for Bosch in Mexico.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Job Description
**_ Key elements should include the following:_**
- Business Responsibilities_
- _ Responsible for managing key suppliers for specific material field (Mentorships)_
- _ Negotiation of contracts for the nominated suppliers (incl. integral projects)_
- _ Ensure policy deployment targets are fulfilled for the assigned (sub) material fields._
- _ Actively engage with plant colleagues and IBT - Global Category, Sr Category Expert for defining strategies_
- _ Actively support internal customers on their requests, working together to develop neutral RFQ that leverages competition._
- _ Prepare Regional Sub-material field strategy for nominated sub material fields. _
- Delivery Responsibilities_
- _ Check purchasing requisitions and project/sourcing request issue purchase orders/contracts on time_
- _ Plan and conduct RFQs to ensure timely tender and/or renewal of the contracts._
- _ Support for issues related to contracting and contract compliance._
- _ Plan and develop actions to meet or exceed key KPI deliverables as outlined in policy deployment targets. _
- _Prepare monthly status reports outlining - RFP status,



Savings and other key KPI s like Automation. Supply base reduction, Payment terms etc._
- P_articipate on White Board Meetings and provide status of the ongoing projects._
- _ Drive Process improvements and work closely based on Strategic Tender plan_

Functional Skills/Competencies
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, charts, graphs, etc.) and SAP experience
- Project Management knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other functions/suppliers and foster teamwork.
- Strong self-motivation to achieve policy deployment targets.
- Positive attitude
- Knowledge of the market in terms of varying portfolio of Professional services (Consulting, Temp Labor etc)
- Market knows how of costing of resources for varied skill set and experience levels in Professional services & various models of outsourcing.
- Awareness and tracking of the market environment and dynamics for the respective material field.
- Advanced negotiation techniques.
- Familiar with international working environment
- Excellent project management skills
**Qualifications**
REQUIRED SKILLS: Qualifications
- _




Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline_
- _ Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics roles. Experience with Logistics Purchasing preferred._
- _ Self-motivated to define and drive continuous improvement of processes._
- _ Excellent communication skills, initiative and personal accountability_
- Organized and excellent communication and project management skills. PC literate (MS-Office, SAP).
- Negotiation skills with demonstrated cost savings results.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate and conduct business discussion fluently in Spanish & English, preferable German as well.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- _ Experience with Logistics and/or Logistics Purchasing_
- _ Experience with Project Management_
- _ Experience with negotiations and/or contract negotiations_
- _ Good communication skills, incl. internal and external presentation_
