The Junior Finance Clerk will support the finance team in managing daily financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and financial data management. This role is adecuado for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in finance, looking to build a career in financial management.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis and report findings to senior management.
- Record financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Review accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Support with cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in internal audits and the preparation of audit reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records in the accounting software system.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial oversight.




- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including managing spreadsheets and financial data entry.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Assist with month end closings.
- Able to comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the Company Handbook
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles (internships included).
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance field.
- Experience in the mortgage industry preferred.
- Ability to deliver effective results.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision.
