Provides analytical reasoning, supports and coordinates design & purchasing projects activities, including but not limited to: sourcing of New and Minor models, Monitor Costs coordination and reporting, USMCA compliance activities deployment, TdC analysis, PDT promotion and Cost reduction tracking that contributes creating profitable growth.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Plans and Controls the Purchasing Projects for New and Minor Models. Leads the project in all the phases coordinating the activities of Purchasing line-side and VT in the Region (NMEX, NNA & NML). Develop Program Schedule. Ensures cost and timing targets.
2. Promotes and coordinates localization activity based on TdC cost improvement and Local content increase. Business Case analysis and adoption coordination with related functions: engineering, purchasing, production control, finance & plants.
3. Plans, develops, implements and maintains cost reduction plans in support of the project cost reduction goals.
4.Coordinate activities between all departments to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts and resolution of supply issues and problems.
5.Understand basic purchasing processes (supplier selection, DOA, origin definition of a part number, QCDDM evaluation, RVC, Nomination Letter, etc...) and design process (PDT) which enables this position to coordinate activities that involves both areas.
**Education**
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Commercial areas.



Consider equivalent related college or technical courses.
**Experience**:
At least 2 years of related experience at a professional level.
**Required knowledge**:
Project Management. Automotive Market and Commercial knowledge.
**Language**:
Fluent in BOTH English and Spanish (TOEIC score 700 or higher).
**Computer Skills**:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power Point, Project, SAP.
**Competences**:
Good communication skills both verbal and written; Negotiation and leading.
Tenacity and Frustration Tolerance.
