This position is responsible to ensure the introduction of new purchased materials to the Manufacturing process in a planned and controlled manner. Quality Lead of new suppliers selection, onboarding and ramp up processes.
**What your day will look like**:
- Responsible of assuring safe introduction of new BOM suppliers and securing launches of new purchased materials (e.g. packaging, parts, resin and coloring).
- Area of responsibility covers supplier quality management within SQM department with focus on Printing and Packing or Resin & MB category.
- Perform quality assessments and audits in collaboration with Procurement department for new suppliers.
- Support selection and ramp up processes for new suppliers.
- Ensure compliance to LEGO standards and requirements for new suppliers.
- Onboard and train new suppliers to align with LEGO Supplier Quality Handbook and other LEGO Group requirements (PQ & PS handbooks, VGQ, FSC, etc).
- Resolve non-conformance issues coming from new suppliers & materials during ramp up process.
- Define and secure a safe launch plan for new suppliers and materials.
- Gathering, analyzing, monitoring, measuring and reporting the performance data of suppliers.
- Build supplier development plans and carry out activities to mitigate quality risks from new suppliers & materials.
- Improve knowledge sharing across the sites.
- Drive efficiency initiatives.
- Represent department at engineering and project meetings.
- Responsible to support and coordinate activities of incoming inspectors as deputy of Area Manager.
**Are you up for the challenge?**
- +4 years of working experience in Supplier Quality area.
- + 3 years of experience in core tools: APQP, PPAP, AMEF, CP, SPC & MSA with shown evidence.
- Experience as Internal Auditor is a must, ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification desirable.
- Availability to travel 20-30%.
