**General Ledger balance sheet reconciliations, specifically cash. Provide necessary analysis and/or recommendations**
**Evaluate general ledger transactions and records as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete**
**Prepare and post related journal entries and prepare supporting documentation during normal course of business**
**Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close**
**Prepare bank account reconciliations involving various currencies and work with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel to resolve outstanding items - Participate in audit activities and assist in preparing necessary schedules and other information**
**Record intercompany activities to balance international subsidiaries for month end - Accurately process journal entries initiated by the Treasury group**
**Identify process concerns or issues and escalate appropriately**
**Work with various teams within the organization to resolve outstanding balances on balance sheet accounts**
**It would be WOW if you would bring this in**:
**Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent required**
**5+ years relevant general accounting experience required.**
**Proven experience leading teams.**
**Working knowledge of SAP required.**




**Finance in manufacturing environment experience preferred.**
**Excellent interpersonal communication aptitude (English /Spanish)with the ability to work well within a team setting as well as with internal and external customers**
**Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel using tables, pivot tables, advanced functions and compound functions**
**Working knowledge of SAP and manufacturing industry required**
**Ability to review processes and identify improvements to develop best practices - Looks for new challenges and development opportunities.**
**Self-starter with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. Integrity, humility, ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities and complete work timely**
**Analyzes data and information in an effective and efficient way**
**Identifies the complexity in situations and demonstrates adequate problem solving techniques.**
**Working experience with HSBC bank and Expense Point T&E; card platform preferred - Makes quick and clear decisions**
