The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of all incoming, shipments and merchandise at our company. This position will manage the receiving &
Shipping department and its staff, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and distributed in an organized and timely manner.
- Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper packing and labeling of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock for shipping needs.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies
- Develop and implement efficient shipping & Receiving procedures and policies.
- Train and manage a team staff, ensuring high performance.
- Resolve shipping issues, such as delays or damaged goods, promptly.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
- Monitor and control operational costs
Experiência y requisitos
- 5-7 years’ experience in similar roles, bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
- Relevant experience in Shipping & Receiving and inventory management
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
