We are looking for an all-around **Acumatica Accounting Specialist** to join our finance team. This role is perfect for a highly skilled accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment and has extensive expertise in Acumatica ERP. You will handle a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial operations.
**Work Schedule: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM EST**
**Compensation: 12$ - 13$ usd an hour**
**Type of Contract: Contractor - you will be in charge of paying your taxes**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee inventory accounting, cost management, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Optimize accounting processes using Acumatica, leveraging its full capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.




- 3+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing/retail industry experience preferred.
- Expert knowledge of Acumatica ERP; Acumatica certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
