**Responsibilities**:
As a Reservations/Guest Services Agent at Poppy, you will be the frontline ambassador for our brand, playing a critical role in managing and enhancing the overall guest experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- **Responding to Booking Inquiries and Leads**: Promptly and professionally handle all incoming queries regarding property availability, rates, and amenities. Guide potential guests through the booking process with helpful and engaging communication.
- **Answering Guest Calls**: Provide outstanding customer service by answering calls from guests. Address their questions, concerns, and special requests in a friendly and efficient manner to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- **Follow-Up on Payments**: Ensure timely and accurate processing of reservations and payments. Follow up with guests as needed to confirm transactions and resolve any payment issues.
- **In-House Guest Assistance**: Act as a point of contact for guests during their stay. Assist them with any issues or requests they may have, from extra towels to local recommendations, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- **Property Maintenance Coordination**: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all properties are in pristine condition. Promptly address and resolve any maintenance issues reported by guests or identified during routine checks.
- **Liaison with Property Owners**: Maintain positive and professional relationships with property owners. Communicate effectively about bookings, guest feedback,



and maintenance needs to ensure their property is well-managed and profitable.
- **Overall Property Experience Management**: Oversee the guest experience from initial contact through check-out. Ensure that all aspects of the guest's stay meet Poppy’s high standards for quality and service.
**Competencies**:
- Sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- General knowledge of the hospitality industry and vacation rentals is a strong plus.
- Self-motivated and hard-working style to achieve specific key performance indicators each month with little oversight.
- Technology savvy and proficiency with MS Office, Zendesk, text messaging and CRM
