We are seeking a dedicated **Data Software Engineer** to join our team.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Transform and provision ingested data effectively
- Automate data transfer processes from Azure/GCP to external suppliers
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and maintenance are upheld
- Build new API integrations to manage increasing data volumes and complexity
- Collaborate with business teams to create data models that fuel BI tools
- Enhance the resilience of our cloud infrastructure, including GCP and Azure
- Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to prevent data pipeline failures
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in data engineering or a related field
- Skills in API and integration platforms
- Proficiency in Azure Functions and Big Data technologies
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
- Background in Oracle PL/SQL
- Expertise in Python programming
- Understanding of cloud storage solutions and Big Query capabilities
- Familiarity with developing and maintaining data pipelines
- Competency to uphold data integrity and quality checks
**Nice to have**
- Previous experience with automation of data transfer processes
- Capability to enhance cloud infrastructure resilience
- Qualifications in developing API integrations for complex data environments
