**Position Overview**:
As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, provide technical expertise, and deliver scalable BI solutions that drive business insights.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the design and development of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
- Develop advanced data models using Power BI Desktop and optimize them for efficiency and scalability.
- Create and optimize complex DAX calculations to support business logic, KPIs, and predictive analytics.
- Implement robust data integration solutions using Power Query/M Query to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Ensure the security and governance of Power BI solutions, including data privacy, role-based access, and encryption.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and actionable visualizations.




- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and queries for enhanced performance and user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior developers and analysts.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Power BI solutions and provide training to end-users as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar BI development role.
- Proven expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M Query Language.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience in designing and developing visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex BI projects from inception to delivery.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Certified are highly desirable.
