**SCRUM MASTER + DATA ENGINEER**(México, Remote)**

**YOUR ROLE**
We are looking for an individual who will dedicate 50% of their efforts as a Scrum Master and the other 50% as a Data Engineer, always prioritizing Scrum Master activities, as that is the most important part.
As Scrum Master:
- Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables
- Organize and lead daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Ensure effiecient workflow and communication within the team
- User story cration: gather requirements from stakeholders, write clear, concise and comprehensive user stories.
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog on the Azure DevOps (ADO) board.
- Work closely with the development team to understand technical challenges and requirements
- Facilitate Scrum events: Such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support product owners
- Prepare and present weekly management updates
- Encourage continous improvement in team process to enhace productivity.




- Ability to estimate effort and monitor team capacity in terms of effort points for each sprint and PI planning.
As Data Engineer:
- Review team monitoring reports to identify issues and create corresponding PBI´s for resolution.
- Monitor the status of DataBricks jobs and ADF pipelines.
- Understand the concepts of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes.Work with Azure Cloud Services, Azure Data Factory and Python / SPARK
**YOUR PROFILE**
- Excellent conversational **English**(C1, C2)
As Scrum Master:
- Proven experience as a **Project Manager in a software development environment**:
- Excellent undestanding of the software development cycle.
- Experience in writing **user stories**and **managing product backlog.**:
- Excellent **communication**(Spanish & English) and **teamwork**skills.
- Proficiency in creating and managing **PBI´s in Azure DevOps.**:
- Strong understanding of **Scrum principles and practices.**:
- Experience with skills bingo and fostering T-shaped teams.
- Experience in PI planning.
As Data Engineer:
- Proficiency in **Python**:
- Strong understandig of **ETL/ELT processes**.
- Experience with **Azure Cloud Services and Azure Data Factory.**:
- Ability to review **monitoring reports and create PBIs**for necessary fixes.
- Focus **system maintenance**.




Desirable:
- **Certification in project management**(eg. Agile, Scrum, PMP)
- **Background in AI, data science**, or related fields
