**What you will do**
- **Backend Development & System Design**: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies; Leverage strong system design skills to architect scalable, high-performance solutions.
- **Agile Practices & Requirement Analysis**: Participate in daily standups/scrums and agile development cycles; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- **Collaboration & Cross-Team Communication**: Work closely with TPM, SQA, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals; Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.
- **Code Quality & Review**: Perform regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- **Database Management**: Manage and optimize data storage using MySQL (or similar RDBMS) along with other databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- **Source Control & Issue Management**: Utilize Git or Bitbucket for version control and manage code repositories efficiently; Estimate, track, and manage JIRA tickets throughout the project lifecycle.
**Must haves**
- **Java Proficiency**: 7+ years of experience in software development, strong hands-on experience with Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and API development.
- **RDBMS Expertise**: Proven experience with MySQL or a similar relational database system.
- **Hibernate & MySQL**: Experience or familiarity with Hibernate alongside MySQL.
- **AWS Experience**: Experience developing and deploying Java services on AWS.
- **Lambda Functions Design and Development**;
- **System Design & Requirement Translation**:



Ability to design scalable systems and translate requirements into functional, efficient code.
- **Source Control**: Experience with Git or Bitbucket for source code management.
- **Agile & JIRA Management**: Proficiency in working within agile environments and managing tasks/tickets via JIRA.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- **English**: Upper-Intermediate level.
**Nice to haves**
- **Security Expertise**: Familiarity with security tools such as Okta and Spring Security.
