The Trainee: Maintenance Planner position is designed to give incumbents access to a practical work environment where they can learn from experts, and adapt their theoretical knowledge. The Trainee will play a crucial role in optimizing maintenance activities and ensuring the effective utilization of resources to maintain and enhance the efficiency of operational infrastructure including equipment and pipe network systems. The role will also expose the trainee to planning and coordinating maintenance schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring that maintenance tasks are executed in a timely and efficient manner. The Trainee: Maintenance Planner is to collaborate closely with the maintenance and production teams including Technicians, Artisans, and Engineers, to develop and implement maintenance plans that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. By utilizing data analysis and technical knowledge, the Trainee contributes to the enhancement of equipment reliability and the reduction of downtime.
