What you’ll need to succeed:
- Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering, or equivalent based on experience and education.
- Master’s degree a plus, but not mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tooling/finishing/assembly.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and/or in a plastics manufacturing plant / shop floor.
- Fuel System experience preferred.
- Siemens and Festo knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
- PLC programming (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) has a definite advantage.
- Robotics experience a definite advantage (Fanuc preferred but not mandatory).
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification a benefit.
- Support of projects in plants abroad.
- The adecuado candidate will be expected to successfully manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Able to travel a maximum of 10% domestically or internationally without restrictions.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- Knowledge of Kautex standards.
- Uphold Environment Health and Safety (EH&S;) guidelines for all equipment and tooling.
- Product Design Knowledge.
