Purchasing Manager
Location: Cancun
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities for FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), FOH (Front of House), and BOH (Back of House) for our restaurant operations. This role will lead a team of Senior and Junior Buyers, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, supplier management, and timely delivery across multiple units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage procurement activities for all FF&E;, FOH, and BOH requirements across new openings, remodels, and operational needs.
- Supervise and mentor a team of Senior and Junior Buyers, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, availability, and pricing alignment with company standards.
- Coordinate closely with Design, Construction, Operations, and Finance teams to align purchasing with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Source new vendors and materials that align with company quality and sustainability standards.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, alternative products, and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage inventory levels and delivery schedules to prevent delays and overstocking.




- Maintain accurate procurement records, tracking orders, shipments, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and health regulations in product sourcing and storage.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of procurement experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry, with a strong focus on FF&E;, FOH, and BOH.
- Proven experience leading procurement teams, including performance management and training.
- Strong negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
- Deep knowledge of restaurant equipment, materials, and operational needs.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, MarketMan, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; another language is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: $60,000 MXN gross, depending on experience.
- Benefits: Law-mandated benefits
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time position
