**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Prepare the proper documentation, coordinate and supervise along with customs broker (Laredo, Veracruz, Manzanillo, Mexico City airport -AICM & AIFA-) the imports of goods to supply local customers.
- Take care of export process, to supply customers from Central America.
- Be in close contact with the CSRs to inform them about the export process status so this can be shared with the final customers by the CSRs.
- Place sample orders when account managers request them. Clear them from Customs and prepare the shipments via courier to deliver them to our final customers.
- Coordinate with our truck supplier the export shipments to DSM Central America and follow up with the importers at destination to release them from customs and deliver at their facilities.
- Complete import process for samples from other countries to Mexico.
- Keep sales informed about the status of the samples sent from our customers abroad.
- Request/Process import permits with the authorities if needed (health certificates to import/export animal feed products and samples) with support of Regulatory affairs dept.
- Check expenses from our customs broker and review customs declaration to have our files complete.
- Coordinate legal issues at customs (fines).




- Follow up on empty containers devolutions to the sealine within the free time to avoid extra detention expenses.
- Inform CSRs about the ETAs of products in transit/customs clearance.
**Reporting Lines**
Supply Chain Supervisor - MX
**Education**
bachelor’s degree (Foreign Commerce, Administration, Logistics)
English (Advanced level)
Computer Software knowledge (Microsoft office)
**Job Experience**
Imports/Exports (review expenses, contact with customs brokers)
SAP knowledge (preferably but not mandatory)
Import permits
Mexican customs laws expertise
