This role primarily performs product reviews for package claims, and you will have the opportunity to work with programs such as Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Plant-Based, and others. As the technical support, it requires an independent worker who enjoys detail oriented and data review tasks. Additionally, they will work collaboratively with account managers, fellow team members, and clients to provide technical support forquestions, non-conformance review, and training.
- Responsibilities: Performs quality assurance reviews of documentation/inspection reports/Test reports against established policies/guidelines/standards.
- Determines required follow-up for certification/non-certification (if applicable)
- Determines required compliance testing and evaluation; documents testing results as required for certification
- Create product summaries, findings, and other certification documents
- Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and engagement with team members
- Works collaboratively with account managers, fellow team members, and client(s) to provide technical understanding and support
- Conducts training as needed for internal and external stakeholders
- Qualifications: Education: 4-year Degree (Food Science, Nutrition,Agriculture)
- 1 to 5 years of minimum experience in manufacturing, qualityassurance, R&D;, certification, or applicable
- Technical and analytical aptitude
- Scientific Background
- Process improvement experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
