**Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant**

**About This Role**:
Leader Education is actively recruiting **SEND Teaching Assistants** to support children and young people with **Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)** in both **mainstream** and **specialist** school environments across Leeds and surrounding areas. These full-time roles are **long-term temporary positions**, ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in education.
We are looking for versátil and resilient individuals to support students aged **4-16** with a range of SEND, including but not limited to:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Speech,



Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- ADHD and other associated conditions
**Working Hours**:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care, or youth work experience considered)
- Confident supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
