- Professionals with degrees in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields involving statistical analysis of large data sets.
- 1-3 years of overall work experience in a similar capacity, or less than 1 year for relevant degree holders (including fresh graduates).
- Strong understanding of the CPG/FMCG industry and the retail market’s impact on clients' businesses.
- Mastery of the NielsenIQ suite of products and methodologies (highly desirable)
- Generally does not attend client (external and/or internal) meetings independently; may attend with manager supervision.
- Capable of supervising smaller tasks and contributing to team-level execution
- Own Data Science solutions for client requests and provide initial recommendations for complex client-raised issues.
- Represent the Data Science team in meetings with clients and senior stakeholders to understand business needs and propose innovative solutions.
- Reduce complexity and create clarity in data science methodologies and outputs.
- Design and develop new use cases, proofs of concept, and prototypes using diverse datasets and tools such as Python and R.
- Automate and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Product, and Client Services teams to align on goals and deliverables.

- Domain expertise in at least one area: Demography, Sampling, Statistical Modeling, Research Practices, Data Integration, or Digital.
- Experience in data trend analysis, multivariate statistics, sampling, bias reduction, indirect estimation, data aggregation and statistical modelling.
- Proficient in Python, proficiency in other more basic software is expected
- Proactive in connecting with stakeholders and clients, linking their needs with business goals.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments under pressure.
- Ability to work in a general, multicultural environment.
