PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position has the responsibility for the production operation for all aspects of the Tijuana Thomson BU. The position requires leadership and directing the manufacturing of quality products that are delivered on time to customer-required dates and within budget. Its responsible for fostering a performance-driven and continuous improvement environment for production operations. Manufacturing will be completed in a safe and clean work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the human talent to deliver the goals of the BU
- Production work schedules
- Lead personnel in each function, based on the procedures and policies from Thomson
- Responsible to prepare results report based on the performance and productivity
- Daily Management of QDIP objectives & goals
- Train associates in proper manufacturing techniques.
- Performances Evaluations from the personnel of the BU
- Discipline when necessary Internal Relations:
- Reports to Production Manager
- Interacts with Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, FBS & Human Resources External relations:
- Interacts with Thomson, Linear Motion professionals to share best practices and collaborate on continuous improvements initiatives.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Industrial Engineering Degree / Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred
- 3-5 years previous experience as Production Supervisor
- Spanish and English Fluency skills
- Previous experience as Production Supervisor
- Lean Manufacturing tools is preferred
