**Position Overview**
We are seeking a **talented Embedded and PLC Controls Engineer** to join our Tijuana engineering and manufacturing team. This role will focus on the design, programming, and integration of **embedded systems, PLC controls, and automation solutions** for industrial pumps, dredging systems, and heavy excavator equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, program, and implement **PLC control systems** for pump and dredge equipment.
- Develop and maintain **embedded firmware/software** for custom control boards.
- Integrate sensors, motor controllers, hydraulic systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CANbus, Ethernet/IP).
- Create **HMI/SCADA interfaces** for equipment monitoring and control.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems for reliability and efficiency.




- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on **system integration and new product development**.
- Support **testing, debugging, and validation** of control systems in both the shop and field environments.
- Document software, wiring diagrams, and control system architectures.
- Ensure compliance with **industrial safety standards** and best practices in automation.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with **PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)**.
- Strong experience with **embedded C/C++ or Python** for microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, STM32, or similar).
- Knowledge of **industrial automation, control theory, and sensor integration**.
- Experience developing **HMI/SCADA systems**.
- Hands-on experience with **hydraulic and heavy equipment systems** preferred.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per month
