CONTROLS ENGINEER CONTROLS ENGINEER
Main Job Responsibilities
- Able to perform the following manufacturing engineering functions: tooling, process, and layout design; quality engineering, ergonomics, and safety.
- Ability to troubleshoot and program machine controls (Siemens - Step 7, Allen Bradley - Ladder Logic).
- Strong project management skills: able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to support all shifts as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Personal skills include the ability to work well with others, team spirit, flexibility with personal schedule to meet deadlines, and support business travel.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools is required.
- Experience with Phoenix PC Works, Interbus, Devicenet, RS View, and Control Logix.
Qualifications and Experience
- Able to perform the following manufacturing engineering functions: tooling, process, and layout design; quality engineering, ergonomics, and safety.

- Strong project management skills: able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong problem-solving skills.
- 4-year associate's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of experience and demonstrated success as a manufacturing/controls engineer in an automotive manufacturing or assembly plant.
- Experience training others.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Plant start-up experience desired.
