What will your day be like at ACPS Automotive Qro as a Metrologist?
**Position Authority**:
Stop any operation or activity that poses a risk to product safety or any aspect within the organization, immediately notifying the relevant areas according to the organization’s escalation plan. Additionally, contact metrology service providers and gauge manufacturers for the coordination of activities related to this issue.
**Position Responsibility**:
Responsible for generating measurement programs for all projects in compliance with customer requirements, as well as ensuring that each type of inspection, measurement, and testing equipment mentioned in the control plans is included in the calibration plan and MSA plan.
- Design of CMM programs for new projects.
- Calibration of quality instruments according to the annual MSA plan.
- Conduct statistical studies on types of inspections, measurements, and testing equipment,



as well as training for personnel.
- Maintain (review) the monthly calibration database.
- Generate and update measurement reports.
- Verification and control of red rabbits according to the laboratory program.
- Follow-up on external calibrations.

**Admission Profile**:
- **Academic degree**: High School, TSU, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or equivalent training. Or proven experience.
- **Knowledge in**: IATF standard, ISO 14001, CSR. CMM programming (PCDemis).
- **Minimum experience**: 3 years as a metrologist in a metalworking automotive company.
- **Desired experience**: 5 years as a metrologist in a metalworking automotive company.
