**A Snapshot of Your Day**
You’ll oversee daily General Ledger, Closing, and Reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial records in line with IFRS and local GAAP. Working closely with the General Ledger, Closing & Reporting Analyst, you’ll resolve accounting issues, implement process improvements, and collaborate with regional hubs and local teams. You’ll build strong partnerships, manage operational challenges, and share best practices to drive efficiency and consistency across Siemens Energy’s global network.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- **Financial Reporting**: Responsible for preparing periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in compliance with IFRS and internal guidelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- ** Month-End Activities**: Execute month-end processes, perform account reconciliations, manage General Ledger housekeeping, and handle intercompany reconciliations and accrual postings.
- ** Support and Documentation**: Assist Senior and Principal Analysts in preparing internal control documentation and support internal and external audits by providing timely information.
- ** Process Improvement**: Engage in the implementation and documentation of new processes, update Desktop Procedure (DTP) documentation, and contribute to the standardization and automation of workflows.
- ** Career Development and Collaboration**: Foster personal growth through feedback and learning, while building strong partnerships with stakeholders and contributing to a collaborative environment focused on people, processes, and technology.
**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or relevant experience in General Ledger, Closing & Reporting Accounting.
- Preferably some initial experience in General Ledger, Closing & Reporting,



or Accounting/Finance Operations.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of IFRS accounting is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel; basic understanding of business processes in SAP is a plus.
- Experience in transitions and transformation projects is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel for training and knowledge transfer; open, communicative nature with intermediate English skills.
