**Quality Engineer**
**YOUR ROLE**
As a Quality Engineer on our team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet Aptiv’s high-quality standards and customer expectations. You will lead problem-solving initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and support production activities to guarantee product conformity and performance.
In your daily job you will:
- Ensure compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.
- Manage quality documentation, including control plans, PFMEAs, and inspection standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone.
- Monitor key quality indicators and drive actions to improve performance.
- Support audits (internal, customer, and external) and follow up on findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Maintenance, SCM) to resolve quality issues.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and zero defects in all manufacturing processes.
**YOUR BACKGROUND**
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering (automotive industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
