**Job Description - Grade Specific**:
**JOB SUMMARY**
The Systems Engineer for the Mechatronic group serves as a technical specialist; provides expertise to support the development of new product ideas, concepts and product improvements; ensures the designs are consistent with the organization objectives; and acts as the interface between Product Management, Solution/System Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and Software Developers for transforming the defined stakeholder requirements into a set of system/subsystem requirements that will guide the design of the solution.
**Job skills**:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of direct experience in requirements elicitation and generation.
- Proven track record of being part of the product development lifecycle for complex systems and/or subsystems.
- Experience in development for autonomous systems,



robotics, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Proficient understanding of design principles, hardware development, and requirement management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.**Additional Preferred Skills**:
- Knowledge of autonomous technology, robotics, or related domains.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and hardware in the loop testing.
- Experience with Jama or other requirements management tools.
