**Job Purpose**
The Lean Engineer is responsible for creating a streamlined, efficient, and cost-effective work environment to enhance overall business performance and operational excellence.
**Job Summary**
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Perform time studies and implement lean tools to optimize workflows.
- Evaluate machine speed and operator efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and optimize layouts to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational processes with business objectives.
- Implement 5S and Kaizen initiatives to improve workplace organization and operational efficiency.
- Lead value stream mapping sessions to identify improvement opportunities and streamline processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs to instill lean principles across the workforce.
**Responsibilities**:
- **OEE Data Correction**: Analyze and correct data inaccuracies to improve equipment effectiveness tracking.
- **Lead M360 TIPs Implementation**: Plan, monitor, and track progress for continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Weekly Reporting (OEE & M360)**: Generate and analyze performance reports for operations and projects.
- **Performance Dialogues**:



Manage performance tracking mechanisms for identifying top issues and supervising improvement plans.
- **Miscellaneous Activities**: Support M360-related initiatives including training programs, certifications, Kaizen activities, and other identified improvement efforts.
**Requirements**:
- **Lean Methodologies**: 3+ years of hands-on experience with tools and methodologies like 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Six Sigma.
- **Manufacturing or Production Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
- **Problem-Solving & Data Analysis**: Proficient in identifying root causes, analyzing data, and implementing effective solutions.
- **Six Sigma certification** (Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred.
- **English & Spanish**: Advanced proficiency in writing, listening, and speaking. Ability to communicate effectively in bilingual environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Expertise in project management and implementing process improvements.
