**Job Title**: Security Automation Engineer

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a proactive Security Automation Engineer with a strong background in Linux, automation, and security. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing security tools, scripts, and automated solutions to enhance and protect our systems. You will work with Python, Node.js, Puppet, and infrastructure-as-code technologies in a dynamic security operations environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement security automation tools and scripts using Python and Node.js.
- Design and enforce security policies, harden systems, and automate processes using shell or Python scripting.
- Build, implement, and maintain Puppet modules for configuration, patching, and compliance automation.
- Develop secure APIs and microservices using Node.js.
- Create Python scripts for data analysis, threat intelligence, and security reporting.
- Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks and Puppet manifests for infrastructure automation.
- Utilize Talon for security solution development.
- Work with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for analytics and SIEM tasks.




- Maintain version control through Git and/or GitLab.
- Maintain and improve RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate in threat prevention and maintain compliance standards.
**Requirements**:
- Strong expertise in Linux internals and administration.
- Proficient coding skills in Python and/or Node.js.
- Experience with Puppet and Ansible for automation (preferably both).
- Familiarity with security concepts, controls, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices development.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git or GitLab.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience with Talon (preferred).
- Some experience with Ansible/Puppet is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per month
