Position Summary:
- This hybrid role combines hands-on maintenance work with leadership responsibilities. The Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor will perform basic maintenance tasks and preventive programs while managing facility projects, vendor relationships, and compliance programs. Over time, this role will evolve into a more strategic supervisory position as site needs grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, belts, light bulbs, and minor plumbing repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections on building systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage maintenance, renovation, and capital projects with mínimal disruption to operations.
- Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with health,



safety, and environmental regulations (NOM, STPS).
- Support budget planning and monitor maintenance-related expenses.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Minimum: TSU (Técnico Superior Universitario) in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance roles.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with NOM safety standards and hazardous materials handling.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
- Experience with CMMS systems (preferred).
- Other:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic English proficiency required.
