- Create data mining architectures, models, and protocols to identify trends in large data sets
- Perform statistical reporting and data analysis to support various business areas
- Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
- Occasionally lead small project teams and provide informal guidance to junior staff
- Engage in frequent internal and external interactions to foster productive relationships
Skills and qualifications:
- Can perform basic data manipulation and analysis in R with guidance, understanding fundamental functions and packages
- Developing practical SQL skills, able to perform basic data manipulation and queries with guidance
- Developing practical experience with Apache Spark, can perform simple data batch processing and live data streaming with guidance
- Building practical experience in predictive modeling, can perform simple tasks with guidance and understands basic concepts and terminology
- Building practical experience in Natural Language Processing,



understands basic concepts and applies them in simple situations with continued coaching
- Builds practical experience in Amazon Web Services, managing simple web server setups and database management with ongoing supervision
