**Responsibilities**
- Initiating sales processes by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, and understanding account requirements.
- Understanding and adequately conveying the value added services that Smith has to offer.
- Negotiating price with customers and keeping up with market trends.
- Interfacing with Smith’s Purchasing team.
- Functioning as the point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.
- Guaranteeing timely and successful delivery of Smith’s solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous sales experience in electronic components independent distribution is preferred
- Cold calling and relationship building experience required
- Knowledge and experience with selling strategies is preferred
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
