**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- Oversee and manage the shipping process to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Plan and coordinate daily operations, including receiving, goods, warehouse put away, pick pack and ship, loading and unloading of trucks and scheduling of deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory control and monitor product quality and conditions
- Train and supervise shipping staff, enforcing safety protocols and productivity standards
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and customers to ensure efficient coordination of shipments
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise, such as delays or damage to products in transit
- Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Generate reports and maintain records of shipping activities and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including CTPAT, OEA, hazardous material handling and transportation laws.

**For This Role, You Will Need**:
- 5+ years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role.
- BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or an equivalent degree.




- Experience in the transportation industry and border-crossing
- Knowledge of shipment regulations and procedures is a must
- Excellent communication skills, both English and Spanish.
- Excellent leadership skills for team management
- Problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of shipping regulations, customs requirements, and best practices in logistics.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance metrics and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in shipping software and technologies, including ERP systems and tracking tools.
- Commitment to fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance metrics and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and shipping software (e.g., Oracle, or similar).
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and regulations.
