We are currently expanding our team at **Planta Zaragoza**, seeking a high-caliber professional to lead our metrology and calibration efforts in an environment driven by technical innovation and operational excellence.
**The Role**
As the **Calibration and Metrology Supervisor**, you will be responsible for the integrity of our measurement systems and the technical leadership of the metrology laboratory. You will ensure that every component manufactured in Planta Zaragoza meets the rigorous dimensional standards required by our global automotive customers.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- **Measurement Reliability**: Guarantee the reliability and precision of all measurement systems and laboratory processes.
- **Dimensional Analysis & GD&T;**: Lead dimensional inspections and provide advanced interpretation of blueprints using **GD&T;** (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure part compliance.
- **Statistical Analysis**:



Conduct and oversee **MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)** and process capability studies to support manufacturing stability.
- **Equipment Management**: Administer the calibration master schedule, ensuring all gauges, CMMs, and laboratory instruments are maintained and certified according to internal and international standards.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- **Experience**:6+ years** of proven experience as a Metrology Engineer or in a senior calibration role within the automotive industry.
- **Technical Expertise**: Strong proficiency in **CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)** programming and operation (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar).
- **Standard Knowledge**: Deep expertise in **GD&T;**, ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and advanced calibration systems.
- **Language**:Advanced English proficiency** (written and spoken) is mandatory for technical documentation and corporate reporting.
- **Skills**: Analytical mindset, leadership capabilities, and a results-oriented approach.
