About the Role
We are building an AI Operations function from the ground up.
This is not a project manager role.
This is not a machine learning engineering role.
We are looking for a hands-on operator who lives in AI tools and knows how to turn messy workflows into structured systems.
You will lead day-to-day AI supervision operations, manage a small analyst team, run internal AI automation pilots, and support client-facing AI engagements.
You will work closely with a US-based Fractional CAIO and grow into the long-term AI Operations leader at Amalga.
What You’ll Do
**Client AI Ops (40%)**
- Lead day-to-day AI supervision engagements.
- Define and maintain AI QA standards.
- Analyze hallucinations, error patterns, and system failures.
- Prepare client reports and performance summaries.
- Tune prompts and agent workflows based on real-world failure data.
**Internal AI Adoption (30%)**
- Identify AI automation opportunities.
- Run pilots and measure results.
- Scale what works across operations.
- Document internal AI case studies.
**Innovation Lab (20%)**
- Evaluate new AI tools weekly.
- Test tools against real use cases.




- Promote or kill tools based on structured evaluation.
**Team Leadership (10%)**
- Manage 2+ AI Ops Analysts.
- Review work and coach process improvement.
Hard Requirements
- 3-6 years in operations, QA, analytics, automation, or process improvement.
- Daily use of 5+ AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, copilots, automation tools).
- Ability to demo something you automated using AI in the last 90 days.
- Strong English (client-facing conversations required).
- Process-driven mindset.
If you cannot demonstrate your AI workflow live during the interview, this role is not a fit.
Nice to Have
- Experience in BPO or managed services.
- Experience in regulated industries.
- Experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate.
- Small team management experience.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per month
