**AIR & OCEAN OPERATIONS AGENT**
**Objective**:
Provide exceptional service by ensuring consistent support and rapid problem resolution, guaranteeing accurate and timely transportation of goods, and compliance with administrative and filing standards.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all documentation complies with applicable customs and transportation laws and regulations.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve issues that may delay the release or timely movement of cargo.
- Resolve billing issues and ensure accurate invoicing and supplier payments.
- Open files and enter accurate data, corrections, and updates into operating systems, including but not limited to PEAK and Cargowise.
- Enter appropriate milestones for each file within the company’s established timelines.
- Ensure all shipments are entered into the system within the month of activity, including proper financial costs and required AR and AP information.
- Audit weekly shipment activity reports (e.g., CASSS reports) and billing issues, resolving any concerns raised by management.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in International Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in air and ocean freight operations.
- Basic knowledge of local customs regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with Cargowise and Wisetech systems is a plus.
- Advanced English level (C1).
