- Reporting to the Test Manager, Test Engineer role responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment._
**What a typical day looks like**:
- _ Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing._
- _ Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data._
- _ Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and_
- _ Sequences and phases of test operations._
- _ Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues._
- _ Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages like Python_
- _ Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests._




- _ Develops test plans and procedures._
- _ Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures._
- _ Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities._
- _ Performs failure analysis on functional test failures._
- _ Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures._
- _ Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities._
- _ Experience in Electrical/Mechanics industries (desirable)._
- _ Experience Mechatronics, robotics integrations_
- _ Experience of controls._
