We are looking for a Team Lead to oversee and manage the daily operations of our sales team, with the goal of assisting our quality customers with better pay rates. Your focus will be building and guiding a successful sales team, increasing the number of closed deals, and growing our market share. The goal of the Direct Team Lead sales team is to assist our existing and previous customers in securing another car loan with Westlake Financial, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the process.
This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, who leads by example, and can effectively balance leadership and hands-on tasks within a dynamic department.
**Key Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)**:
- Develop and implement strategies to boost conversions and improve customer awareness.
- Conduct interviews to hire new team members.
- Manage team performance metrics (KPIs) and attendance.
- Oversee daily reporting on team productivity and production.
- Support sales agents and assist with both inbound and outbound sales calls as necessary.
- Take escalated calls from customers and dealerships to resolve issues.




- Provide basic technical troubleshooting support as needed.
- Maintain company-related reports.
- Document and provide feedback, performance improvement plans, and corrective action notices.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Licenses**:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under time constraints.
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Versatile and quick to adapt to procedural changes.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing responsibilities.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with internal and external operating systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
