We are seeking an **SEO Specialist** with strong expertise in technical SEO, local SEO, and website optimization to join our U.S.based digital marketing agency. This role goes beyond basic keyword placement—we are looking for a professional who understands how search engines work, how users search locally, and how to strategically improve visibility, rankings, and conversions across digital platforms.
- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**_
- **SEO Strategy & Execution**_
- Develop and execute SEO strategies focused on **local SEO and website positioning**.
- Optimize websites to improve organic rankings, visibility, and search performance.
- Conduct **technical and content SEO audits** to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
- **Local SEO**_
- Manage and optimize **Google My Business / Google Business Profile** listings.
- Improve local search rankings through citations, reviews, and location-based optimization.
- Work with tools such as **BrightLocal** to monitor and enhance local presence.
- **CMS & Website Optimization**_
- Optimize SEO performance on **WordPress-based websites**.
- Use and configure SEO plugins, including **Rank Math SEO** and similar CMS tools.
- Collaborate on website structure, performance, and SEO-focused improvements.
- **SEM & Paid Search Support**_
- Support and collaborate on **SEM strategies**, including paid search preparation and optimization.
- Align organic and paid strategies to maximize search visibility and ROI.
- **Tools & Analytics**_
- Use SEO tools such as **SEMrush, SERanking, BrightLocal**, and related platforms.
- Track performance metrics, rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Prepare reports and insights showing SEO impact and improvements.
- **IDÓNEO CANDIDATE PROFILE**_
You are comfortable conducting website audits, implementing technical SEO improvements,



and collaborating with designers, developers, and marketing teams. While deep web design expertise is not required, experience working closely with website structure and performance from an SEO perspective is highly valued.
A **strong portfolio is required**, including examples of:
- Websites or local businesses you helped position better in search engines
- Measurable improvements achieved through your SEO strategies
- Before-and-after results where possible
You are detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to manage your work independently. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
