Responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations
Supporting financial reporting, close, compliance, and internal control activities
Maintaining the integrity of accounting records
Managing the monthly close process
Supervising accounting staff
Ensuring compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP
Working closely with the Director of Finance to support internal controls, audit readiness, process improvements, and accounting system optimization
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial close processes
Experience managing month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Experience working with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills




Public accounting experience preferred
Experience supporting internal controls and audit processes
Experience with multi-entity organizations
Experience with accounting process documentation
Experience working with distributed or offshore accounting teams
Experience in healthcare, senior living, or multi-location service organizations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accounting accuracy
Organized and process-oriented
Effective team leader and collaborator
Systems-minded with an interest in process improvement and automation
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working within a distributed international team structure.
