Reporting to the **Production Planning Supervisor**the **Purchasing Manager Direct**role involves responsible of overseeing activities related to the procurement of Direct Planning materials, parts, In charge of helping materials and production functions.
**What a typical day looks like**:
- Guides order processing activities for major customer units.
- Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
- Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order dedications, order expedites, and problem resolution.
- Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to dedicated ship date time, reply time, and inventory goals.
- Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
- Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
- Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
- Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
- Provides input to management, reschedules,



and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
- May also hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
- Manages the activities of his subordinates
- Guides and coordinates the supply of raw materials to the corresponding destinations
- Supervise inventories
**The experience we’re looking to add to our team**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and extensive knowledge of production planning and practices.
- Experience as a Production planning Manufacturing industry.
- Advanced English.
- Excell Advanced

- Successful use of decision-making and analytical skills.

- Experience managing production schedules and work orders
- Strong follow-up on production execution and material floor
- Coordination of material supply to production lines

- Work order aging tracking and reporting
