AV Designer / AV Technician - Audio Visual Technology Company
Location: Mexico City (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility Considered)
**Salary**: USD $1,200 - $1,500 per month + benefits
Hours: Flexible due to international projects and time zone requirements
We are an international AV and technology integration company seeking an AV Designer / AV Technician to support projects across the United Kingdom and United States.
The role is expected to be based in Mexico City and would suit someone with a strong technical understanding of Audio Visual systems, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced international environment.
## Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the design and documentation of AV systems and technology solutions
- Producing technical drawings, schematics, rack layouts, and equipment schedules
- Supporting the deployment and configuration of AV equipment remotely and on-site where required
- Coordinating with clients, suppliers, and installation teams across international projects
- Assisting with commissioning, troubleshooting, and remote support activities
- Supporting project managers and senior engineers with technical documentation and project coordination
- Preparing quotations, scopes of works, and technical submittals where required
- Maintaining accurate project records and update documentation throughout delivery




- Supporting standardisation of AV solutions across multiple client sites internationally
## Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English with strong communication skills
- Previous experience within Audio Visual integration, AV support, or AV design
- Understanding of AV systems including displays, audio systems, video conferencing, control systems, and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Logitech, Q-SYS, Shure, LG, or similar technologies is advantageous
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings and system documentation
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Comfortable working versátil hours where required due to UK and US operations
- Experience using AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design platforms would be beneficial
- Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, switching, and PoE concepts is preferred
