Colegio Ciudad de México is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Civics Teacher or Social Studies to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess student learning through authentic tasks that demonstrate conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and civic engagement, rather than rote memorization.
- Foster social-emotional development alongside academic learning, encouraging empathy, ethical decision-making, and responsible leadership.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices within a constructivist framework.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and civic participation.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Political Science, History, Sociology, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Civics or Social Studies, with a strong emphasis on constructivist methodologies and student-centered learning.
- Deep understanding of civic principles, democratic processes, human rights, and ethical frameworks.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to become active, informed, and responsible citizens.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
