Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the general ledger close activities within the ERP accounting system
- Manages team of accountants including review of processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Coordinate with financial leadership for account fluctuation analysis and other required reporting
- Manage SOX compliance and key controls for areas within general accounting




- Serve as a liaison with Internal and External Auditors for annual audit and quarterly audit schedules preparation.
- Prepares monthly financial and management reporting packages
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures

Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 10 years of accounting experience
- Prior proven effective management experience overseeing an accounting team
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP
- Highly organized and able to perform under strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- An excellent facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts between different parties to a dispute
- A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective
