Act as sales and marketing representative and liaison between customers and the Commercial District Sales Office

Evaluate current market opportunities and use the account management process to identify key customers

Build long-term relationships across the assigned territory with contractors and building owners

Identify customer problems and evaluate opportunities to determine which Trane products and services best meet customer needs

Maintain expert knowledge of Trane’s product line to create optimal customer solutions

Facilitate introductions of key customer contacts to other sales teams for specific opportunity development

Partner with other account managers to provide combined solutions to customers

Travel occasionally to customer worksites

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, administration, sales, or similar field

Minimum 5 years of experience in solution sales with a record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify leads

Ability to facilitate customer conversations with enterprise-level information to establish value and create demand





Ability to close new business and grow existing account relationships

Must possess a driver’s license

Expert knowledge of Trane’s product line
